What followed was a journey into the inner workings of movement and performance and a career teaching others how to overcome pain through his corrective manual therapy practice and strength coaching.<\/p>\n<p>Soon, Jesse was working with some of the world&#8217;s fastest runners in the distance-running hotbed of Flagstaff, Ariz. constantly tweaking and improving his strength programming for the needs of runners. Through this, combined with his manual therapy practice, he&#8217;s been able to help runners overcome years of chronic pain and vicious injury cycles, and The Robust Human project was born.<\/p>\n<p>Today, Jesse joins the show to share his unique approach to pain management and his strength training philosophy, which he believes are at the heart of helping runners of all abilities
