The 2019 Golden Trail World Series (GTWS) included Zegama-Aizkorri in Spain, Marathon du Mont-Blanc in France, Dolomyths Run Skyrace in Italy, Sierre-Zinal in Switzerland, Pikes Peak Marathon in USA and Ring of Steall Skyrace in Scotland, and finished on October 26 with the Annapurna Trail Marathon in Nepal. The top athletes headed to the highest mountains in the world in Pockhara, Nepal for a chance at winning the GTWS.<\/p>\n

The women go into depth about how many of the leaders got lost on course.<\/p>\n The film also catches footage of the pros dancing over gnarly ridges at altitude through Nepalese villages during the race. The 2020 GTWS will kick off in Spain next June at the Zegama-Aizkorri race.
